dei por ela quase por acaso há coisa de um par de anos, num passeio apressado por um dos dvd da Paste [mais precisamente no vídeo do tema “playing with pink noise”]. fiquei imediatamente preso à rapidez das mãos e dos dedos, ao desembrulhar dos sons da guitarra (sim, apenas uma), à pose, e ao charme.
o 3º álbum de originais saiu neste fim de Verão – “… until we felt red” – meia dúzia de anos depois das incursões p’las estações do metro nova-iorquino, onde percebeu que podia fazer da música a sua vida.
Kaki King, do topo da sua baixa estatura, toca como poucos, muito poucos. o mundo, ainda não a descobriu. mas não deve tardar.
