“misspelled marquee”, a estreia em 2004 dos Tim, encaixa nos raros exemplos de discos obrigatórios sem os quais, de tempos a tempos, o meu carro não anda.
os Tim são um trio norte-americano que tem por base um par de irmãos (Tim e Matt Bader) a quem se juntou o baterista Leslie Van Trease, no ano de 2003.
têm apenas um álbum editado, que chegou até mim (primeiro) via iTunes; como muitos outros, “misspelled marquee” parece arredado dos circuitos mainstream, o que estranho porque este é para mim um disco de rock fm (que parece) igual a tantos outros.
uma recomendação do “lado B”, um disco bem cantado e com guitarras e letras simples, para gozar o verão.
